Jy Simpkin, a proud Yorta Yorta man and captain of the North Melbourne Football Club, is a standout leader in Australian Rules football. A fierce competitor and playmaker, Jy won the Syd Barker Medal for Best & Fairest in 2021 and 2022 and recently took home the Polly Farmer Medal for best on ground in the Indigenous All Stars match—further cementing his elite talent and deep connection to his heritage.

Beyond the game, Jy is committed to making a difference. As an ambassador for Red Dust Australia, he works closely with Indigenous communities across Adelaide and the Northern Territory, supporting remote camps and promoting healthy living. He also partners with AIA Vitality, helping to spread positive messages about health and well-being to young Australians.

Overcoming challenges through the AIEF scholarship program, Jy understands the power of perseverance and education, using his platform to inspire the next generation. His leadership, authenticity, and passion for sport, lifestyle, and community make him a compelling ambassador for brands looking to align with performance, culture, and impact-driven storytelling.
